SAPP, MERLE "GENE," 70, passed away January 9, 2011.
He was preceded in death by partner, Sue Caple; parents, Noland and Augusta Sapp, and brother, Douglas.
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy and Mike (Jaimie); daughter, Arica Wuetcher (Ken); a brother; Bobby Sapp; sisters, Glenda Hopper, Rosemary Phillips and Darlene Watkins; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial service is at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy., from 2-4 p.m. Saturday.
