Ollie Sparks

CHARLESTOWN - Sparks, Ollie M., 91, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013. She was a homemaker, a former member of Sunny Side Assembly of God, and former resident of Yellowwood Senior Apartments. Ollie is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Sparks, three brothers and one sister. Surviving are daughters, Sandy Rowe (Ronnie), Jeffersonville, IN, Cam Custer (Jim), Charlestown and Debbie (Roger) Hilbert, Charlestown; brother: Arnold Woodruff, (Harriett), Louisville; sister, Mary Williams, (Jimmy), Louisville; grandchildren, Bill and Mike Terhune, Rob and Bruce Custer, Dwayne Hilbert and Deanna Holladay; and multiple great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens in Louisville. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and anytime after 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Amedisys Hospice.
