Shirley A. Gaines, 77, wife of the late Joseph K. Gaines passed away at Parkway Medical Center, Wednesday December, 10, 2014. She was born to the late Ralph L., Sr. and Edna M. Erion Foley in Louisville on January 13, 1937.
Shirley retired from Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
She is survived by her children; Kenneth Gaines (Trisha) and April Logsdon (Stephen) along with 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and siblings; Ralph L. Foley, Jr., Jerry Fusting, and Milam Erion.
She loved her animals and will be missed by her special "kids"; Sadie and Jazz.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Alley Cats, 3044 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40205.
